Futurama is the story of Philip J. Fry, who was frozen cryogenically, and was thawed out in the year 3000. He is the delivery boy for the business Planet Express, which is staffed by a combination of humans, mutants, and aliens. This is an example of Human Labor. Also, with the robot character Bender as an example, Futurama can be seen as a good example of Machine Labor.
Bender also presumably has an advanced Artificial Intelligence capable of passing the Turing Test and functioning in a sentient manner. This relates to the numerous AIs in the books and storied from class. Futurama is a great example of how technology affects society because it shows a future with a large amount of advanced technology.
